Power 100 - Tanni is Number 1
To mark UN International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the Shaw Trust and Powerful Media announced their Power 100, a list of Britain’s most influential people with a disability or impairment.
It was announced that Tanni has made it to Number 1 on this list, up one place from last year! And she was one of seven women who made it into the Top 10.
After nominations from members of the public, the judging panel, chaired by Paralympian and TV Presenter Ade Adepitan, selected the final 100.
Power 100 complements the aims of UN International Day of Persons with Disabilities. It is important that society works together to promote the rights and
well-being of disabled people.
The Power 100 2016 top ten includes:
1 - Baroness Grey-Thompson DBE, DL
2 - Alex Brooker
3 - Baroness Jane Campbell
4 - Alison Walsh
5 - Warwick Davies
6 - Liz Sayce
7 - Dame Evelyn Glennie
8 - Francesca Martinez
9 - Stephen Fry
